Allène is my maiden name and I thought it just went well with 'ceramics'.

As a designer, what is your daily inspiration?
Nature inspires me a lot, but also music. In my studio there is always a musical background.
What are your 3 watchwords in managing your brand?
Organisation, originality and doing it right
What colour would you be in a box of pencils?
Maybe yellow or navy blue, but definitely not black!
What do you think about when you are alone in your car or on public transport?
I think very often of my parents who unfortunately left too early

A unicorn, my daughter says.
What was the last gift you gave to someone?
A pretty skirt with a top
What would be the gift you would like to receive?
A trip with my husband
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you in the last few days?
My daughter's teacher called me to tell me that she was waiting for me alone because the school was closing early. At first I felt a little lonely, then I laughed a lot. Knowing that she was not alone, other parents were in the same situation...
