Haute-Couture hair accessories

A phone call rings and the rest makes sense...

It is after several weeks of exchanges, work, and attention to detail that we developed with the House of Patou the must-have headbands of the next season that will be the essential accessories of their Fantasia Botanica collection imagined by the talented Guillaume Henry.

We were thrilled to discover this colorful and simply gorgeous collection, and wanted to share our favorite looks that remind us that fashion is a perpetual art.

The House of Patou in a few dates for the less informed:

Jean Patou was acquired by LVMH with the aim of reviving the French fashion house's women's ready-to-wear line. Today, Jean Patou is reborn with a new name; Patouand a new Artistic Director, Guillaume Henry. He will present the House's first collection during Paris Fashion Week in September 2019.

By creating his House in 1914, Jean Patou, "the most elegant man in Europe" according to the American press, revolutionized women's fashion. An aesthete and a pioneer, Jean Patou designed simple, chic evening dresses as well as the first casual sportswear. He pioneered the art of monogramming his designs with his initials.

A visionary and speed enthusiast, he died in 1936 at the age of 48. The House, which had become a fashion institution, was then succeeded by designers Marc Bohan (1953-1957), Karl Lagerfeld (1958-1963), Jean Paul Gaultier (1963-1974) and Christian Lacroix (1981-1987).

Guillaume Henry, appointed Artistic Director of the House of Jean Patou, now Patou, in September 2018, succeeds them. He cut his teeth at Givenchy and then at Paule Ka before successively taking over as artistic director of Carven and Nina Ricci in 2009 and 2015.

He will present his first women's ready-to-wear collection for Patou in Paris in September 2019. Until then, the House is unveiling its new visual identity with several short winking video clips.
